About Re-Sizefy
Re-Sizefy is a free, browser-based image resizer, converter, and lightweight editor. It resizes photos, converts between JPG, WebP, and PNG, compresses files for the web, adds text watermarks, and applies basic effects like blur, sharpen, contrast, brightness, grayscale, and negative — all without installing anything and without creating an account.
Why we built it
Most free image tools have an uncomfortable bargain hidden in the fine print: to resize your photo, you first have to upload it to someone else's server. That means your product shots, client photos, or family pictures pass through infrastructure you cannot see, and you have no real way to know when copies are deleted.
Re-Sizefy was built to remove that bargain entirely. Modern browsers can do serious image work on their own, so the whole pipeline runs 100% client-side with the Canvas API. Your files are decoded, transformed, and re-encoded on your own device. We never see them, store them, or send them anywhere. Closing the tab wipes the working copies from memory.
What the tool does

- High-quality downsampling. Multi-step resizing with bicubic and bilinear interpolation keeps details crisp when shrinking large photos.
- Format conversion. Output JPG, WebP, or PNG with a quality slider, so you control the exact trade-off between file size and visual fidelity.
- Text watermarks. Stamp a name, logo text, or copyright notice with adjustable position, color, and size — applied identically across a whole batch.
- Effects. Quick blur, sharpen, contrast, brightness, grayscale, and negative filters for one-click touch-ups.
- Smart export. Automatic ZIP download for multiple files and file renaming rules that keep your batches organized.
